Timeless Tiaras - From Queen Vic to Posh Vic

Why are the tiaras have become so popular over the last ten years? Is the desire for "bling" or is it every girl's desire to "princess" on her special day? View on Google and you'll find 4.2 million references to the word "tiara" itself. Each website for tiaras have as many as 100 different designs of all shapes and sizes, materials and colors, decorated with crystals, pearls, feathers, etc. There seems to be confusing choices - almost everything except edible tiaras - but then I did 't look at too American sites.

V & Exhibition in London highlights the incredible popularity of endurance and a tiara. With more than 200 scintillating gem-set head ornaments on display, the exhibition proved a huge hit. Thousands of fine diamonds, worn like Victoria Beckham - and queen - are on display, including Oriental circlet tiara designed by Prince Albert and Queen Victoria wore, and more recently, the Queen Mother

.

Taking pride of place in the exhibition is a Diamond Tiara Russe that the queen wore at her wedding day in 1947, a tribute to her reign. Not so long ago, many would be considered to be elitist tiaras - one for the royal family -. and even then only on special occasions

Today's tiaras are less formal and less rigid in design, complimenting the hair and dress, and does not dominate like the old, heavy models wore the crowned heads of Europe. Now, tiaras look so common and so cheap that there must be a factory in China churning out mass-produced tiaras because some of the leading Web sites selling tiaras, silver, supposedly, to £ 10 -. £ 15

On the other hand, the London stores stock wedding tiaras with prices starting at £ 200. I spoke to several designers at a recent wedding fair in London, who said that in any way they could make a silver tiara for as little as £ 10 Their price started at £ 40 for a simple basic model.

Partly as designers to concentrate on the "agree" at the end of the market for more fussy bride-to-be who want something completely different for their wedding. So the popularity of tiaras going to last? I suppose that would depend on the hairstyle. Figure beehive tiara on! Unlikely? You'd never find them!
